I get my inspiration from sheriff's calls (police log) in the Pulitzer-Prizewinning newspaper the Point Reyes Light. I write short stories based on these snippets of information. I have a book out called Point Reyes Sheriff's Calls, which came out in 2013. This summer, there will be a second edition.
