Hey, while I’m in between exams, I wanted to report where I’m at with chapter 5 of Hello World! I got a lot to say haha 
          
          Basically, I restructured the entire thing. It’s two chapters now, because otherwise there’d be too much head hopping going on in one chapter. And yeah, that means I’m planning on this fic being seven chapters in total now
          
          I can go on and on about how much trouble this chapter has been honestly. I thought I was at a point where I just needed to go back and finish some scenes, but once I posted chapter 4 and looked at 5 with fresh eyes…  yeah, there were a lot of issues I had with it. One, many of the ideas in it were pretty outdated. Two, the chapter was never finished to begin with, so I shot myself in the foot there. Three, with the ending of chapter 4, I realized I was really unhappy with how chapter 5 started. 
          
          So, I may have been panicking about how to fix that at the start of the month. Currently, I have a new outline and I’m hoping I’m happy with the end result bc otherwise I’m throwing myself out a window because HOW. You guys,, I’ve basically rewritten this chapter 3 times over the course of this year. It. Is. Cursed. At this point
          
          But anyway, things have been going good with that. Dunno how I’m feeling about the new draft just yet, but I’m just trying to get through it and worry about editing later. Also, it’s finals week for me, which I realized I already implied whoops. That is to say, I’ll get to chapter 5 as soon as I can, but it’s December so idk. I’m really hoping to at least get it done (even if I don’t post it right away) before the end of the month, but I’m not trying to rush myself
          
          Oh, and in case I don’t post by the end of the year, happy holidays!

Chapter 4 of Hello World is out! 
          
          Hi again! I went a bit silent there. That’s mb, I just got stuck in this mindset that I couldn’t make another post on here until I posted another chapter
          
          Also, when did Wattpad add a feature to organize stuff into series?? It sounds like a useful feature but why did it take so long for them to add it?

Chapter 3 of HW is done!! I spent a month longer than I wanted to on it but I’m very happy with the end result :>
          
          But I wanted to talk about smth else real quick! It’s officially been a year (on both sites now) since I posted Fallback! I’m so glad — and very pleasantly surprised — that so many people enjoyed it. Thank you again for all your lovely comments, votes, and whatever else!
          
          (Also, I just made some small formatting changes for readability, so if older chapters of HW or FB pop up as updated, that’s why. My bad if that happens.)

Aaand Hello World is finally here! If you aren’t aware of what this fic is, I have an explanation of it in my last few posts (especially the one from July 27th 2024). In short, it’s related to my last fic, but expands on the OC character more and how their existence affects the canon/AU storyline. I also expand on some stuff from canon that was left unexplored.
          
          Like I mentioned in the A/N, I’m still working on some scenes. So unlike my posting schedule for Fallback/part one of the series, this will have an irregular posting schedule. Also… it’s gonna be 6 chapters now, unlike the 5 i originally planned for. Whoops
          
          In the end (still not done with this I don’t know why I’m talking like I’ve finished it completely), I’m glad I waited a while before posting any chapters, cause I really needed to take a step back from the project to figure out what I was struggling with. I doubt it’ll be perfect or match up to the image in my head, but I’m fine with that (now, at least). I don’t want to let my perfectionism stop me from finishing the second part of this series. Also cause it’s really slowing me down on the other projects I have.
          
          Anyway, I’m gonna crawl back into my corner until I’m done with the next chapter :P

Hey, it’s been a bit! I’m writing this as a quick update. 
          
          Unfortunately, my life’s gotten very busy due to my current schedule, and will likely stay that way until December. It’s pretty much put a halt on all my projects, including this series, so I haven’t gotten much time to work on fics (or much else, for that matter). My motivation hasn’t run out, though! I still have plenty of plans, even if I can’t work on anything atm.
          
          I’d love to at least share the cover of “Hello World”, cause I’m so happy with it ;-;

Okay, Fallback: Hello World is into its editing stage now! Dunno how long that’ll take, especially since I’m still deciding what chapters should get drawings (if any), but I’m very glad to be almost done with this project. Don’t get me wrong, It’s been nice to work on, but it’s also given me SO much trouble (which I’ll prolly elaborate on in the behind the scenes stuff). Though I’m pretty happy with the end product so far!
          
          Like I said before, this is just a “spin-off”/extra story, not a direct part 2 of Fallback. it’s sort of a reference point for me as well, in case I need to mention any of the backstory stuff in future works.

Alright! It’s been a while since I’ve actually made a proper update post, so prepare for a wall of text!
          
          First off, I already sorta hinted at this over on ao3, but now I can actually say something — Fallback’s gonna be a series! It was always planned to be one, but I never said anything cause it was extremely likely that I was gonna lose motivation somewhere along the line. The chance is still high, but I want to show that I did/do have ideas for continuing Fallback.
          
          That being said, this next fic is prolly not gonna be for everyone. It’s very OC-centric, acting as both a request for someone over on ao3 and an excuse to expand some details to make this AU clearer. Not that it’s gonna be too different from canon, but I got a whole OC to fit in with the storyline, y’know? I wanna make it make sense. So far, it’s way longer than I was expecting it to be, being 5 chapters total. It’ll focus on what happens before Fallback and ONE (Aka, Cloudy and Airy’s dynamic and backstories). It was also a great time for me to remedy some issues I had with the og Fallback. 
          
          After I post that, I’ll be working on a direct continuation of Fallback, following canon characters. I’m extremely excited to get to these next ideas, so I’ll make sure to drop more info later down the line! I don’t have a release date for this next fic yet, but I’ll make sure to update y’all when I do :)
