Hey there, my name is SuspiciousSwordfish, but I typically go by either Sword or Fish. I'm eighteen years old, bisexual, and I'm currently questioning my gender. I was designated female at birth and I prefer the use of either she/her or they/them pronouns.
I read many genres, including slice of life, fantasy, historical fiction, comedy, romance, adventure, poetry, and manga. As you may have noticed, I quite enjoy my Oxford commas so please don't tell me to remove them. For those of you who don't know, an Oxford comma is a comma placed before the 'and' in a list of things. (You can pry my Oxford comma from my cold, dead, and lifeless hands)
I mostly write poetry, slice of life, comedy, romance, and fantasy. It should be noted that some of my works contain LGBT+ characters. None of my works will have any sexual content since I like to keep my writing PG.
Feedback is always appreciated on any and all of my works! Don't be shy if you see a grammar mistake! And yes, I even appreciate flames since I can usually glean something from them. However, the best format a comment can take is constructive criticism. This helps me grow as a writer, which is the reason I'm here in the first place.
Also, since I'm Canadian, I spell words differently than some of you. For example: Aknowledgement=Acknowledgment, Analysed=Analyzed, Axe=Ax, Cancelled=Canceled, Cheque=Check, Defence=Defense, Dialogue=Dialog, Gauge=Gage, Grey=Gray, Litre=Liter, Matte=Matt, Metre=Meter, Moustache=Mustache, Pyjamas=Pajamas, Sulphate=Sulfate, Tonne=Ton, (A tonne is 2200 lbs, a ton is 2000 lbs) Wilful=Willful, Worshipped=Worshiped, Queueing=Queuing. (This includes words similar to these examples)(Longer list: https://www.searchenginepeople.com/blog/canadian-american-spelling-differences-does-your-blog-speak-to-the-proper-market.html )Let me know if I use both spelling types in the same story!
Et je parle français! (Désolé, mon français est mauvais.)
Anyhow, I hope you enjoy!
