The entitlement of some people are crazy… I’ve been having issues with this same lady at work, every single time she comes in she asks me to buy her beer…this lady isn’t a regular, has never paid for her beer or anything and has never paid me back. I covered her 7 times already… this time I tell her no…for 5 minutes this goes on and guess what she does?………. She walks over to the cooler, grabs herself a beer and puts it on the countertop-
Excuse me?
And hits me with “it’s only $1.50, I’ll pay you back next time.”
If this was a grocery store and that was a food item then yeah I would have no problem covering but this isn’t- it’s a liquor store-you don’t need it, it’s not essential- if you “need it” then that’s a you problem not mine
I’m not getting in trouble for a missing item so this lady got her way again. Next time I’m going to call my manager and the police, you can’t do that. Yeah it’s $1.50 (she was so nice a chose a cheap beer for me to buy….how nice) but that adds up, one month I lost over $50 of my own money because people didn’t have enough money and the card reader took what was left on the card (and there’s no way I can preform a refund) got scammed on computer lottery because it’s cash only and after I said it was cash only and printed the ticket then they tell me they don’t have cash (can’t undo that on computer lottery because it’s already “paid for”) and people like her…..then when I say no I’m that bad guy…. I’ve been standing my ground more often so don’t worry…except this time…
