Im going to create a 2nd account for my real books and not my rants or life story. Trying to build an audience just in case i start to actually publish

Question: Should I self-publish a book? 
          I'm not sure if I should or if I do if anyone would ever read it. 
          Not sure if my writing is THAT good.
