WHY DOES WATTPAD HATE MEEEE???
Okay... can I be a tiny dramatic baby for a second???

I published my book on Wattpad in May 2026, and it's currently 19 chapters in (still ongoing!). I've been super consistent, uploading twice every week, and we've reached 5.9K reads (which I'm genuinely so grateful for ).

BUTTTT... my little delulu heart keeps whispering, "This book has so much more potential."

Am I doing something wrong??? Or am I just being an impatient little gremlin who wants everyone to fall in love with my babies immediately???

I don't even care about becoming famous—I just want more people to read it, scream over it, cry over it, and love my characters as much as I do. That's literally all I want. ✨

@Elena_Grey Hope so we have some luck, how can someone be unlucky in everything???

I totally agree :(
I’m sick of reading dialogues and story arc that feel disturbingly bland, as if they weren’t written by actual living people who have the emotional capacity and passion that AI lacks.
Like, come on….I’m so tired of it. I’m really sorry for you. Authors like you deserve better - I mean it. <3<3<3

@Elena_Grey The thing is... there are sooo many books out there—some might even be AI-generated—and they still end up getting millions of reads.

Meanwhile, we pour our whole hearts into our stories. Sleepless nights. Countless edits. Tears. Chaos. Love. Every tiny detail.

But none of that matters if Wattpad doesn't recognize our work first.

No matter how much effort we put into our books, sometimes it feels like we need luck more than talent...

...and apparently luck and I are in a lifelong enemies arc.

          	  SAD AUTHOR LIFE.
