When I was young I used to hate reading and writing which ironically is now my favourite pasttime. I don't think writing is only for the gifted few, I think writing is for everybody and I find it sad that many people don't think so anymore. People write either because they want to express an emotion or feeling that they have, or simply because they dream of being somewhere else. Everybody possesses the ability to express themselves on paper from a young age. Like a girl writing about her day in a diary which maybe, one day could become an inspiration to somebody else who may happen to discover it at some time in the future. Like Anne Frank. That's what books and stories are for. Every book you see on a book shelf in a library is somebody's emotions and feelings. Somebody's inspiration. Somebody's longing. And they place it in our hands.
