@SylenaVale I'm excited to read more but don't feel like you have to rush! I definitely rushed posting my book on here a bit, not that I regret it necessarily but I've made a lot of little edits and changes since the versions that are on here too.

If you read chapter 2, you saw the hard childhood Nina had. Sometimes that’s us too. Hold on to the spark that makes you a unique and precious human being. Don’t let the fire burn out ❤️ It can be hard. Please take time to take care of yourself mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally. Simple joys go a long way.

Editing my next few rounds of chapters to post and I had to take an emotional pause after this part. Nina has escaped!!
Here’s an excerpt:
“The enforcer hesitated with a foggy exhale. Then they vanished into the forest.
Her body begged for release, but her mind wouldn’t allow such complacency. Freedom was a trick. A lie she had never been allowed to believe. Even when the rain was the only sound left, when her limbs shook, Nina didn’t move.
But finally—finally—when she let the breath go, it came out as a shaky, quiet sob.”
