The name Sylphland was a tribute to  elementals of Air called Sylphs.  Beings of Intelligence, Creativity and Beginnings.

We hope that this community is a place where new beginnings can happen.  Sylphland is the creative project of The Writers Room discord channel established by @22Hamilton.  

In the future this channel will be debuting different projects and opportunities for new and lesser know authors to participate in to increase their visibility.
