@Sylviedust123lol I know I’m not close enough to be considered your friend, nor am I too experienced in comforting people, but this situation, I know how it feels.

Just two months ago my family had to put down our 15+ year old dog named Katy. She’s been in our family since I’ve been born and losing her took a great toll on us all.

But amidst all of it, I’m comforted by this train of thought, and maybe you will be too.

An animal passing away isn’t a permanent goodbye, but rather, a “see you later.” Perhaps in an afterlife, or a different place (even if you don’t believe in such, there’s always a possibility), your pet is comfortable and content, and waiting until someday, you and your family see her again. Although the loss of her presence will hurt, it may help to think that she’s still with you, just a little bit apart in the afterlife, watching. Still there, just in a different kind of way.

And in knowing that, she’s not fully gone.

I feel and think this way with all of the animals me and my family has lost. I choke up thinking about it and even now as I’m typing this to you, but it takes a great weight off in knowing that they’re not truly gone, just waiting to reunite someday at the Rainbow Bridge.

Please forgive me if this doesn’t help, I really tried. I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

GUYS HOW TF DO I MAKE STORIES ON PHONE, I CANT FIGURE IT OUT

ALLIGAT0R-B0Y

@Sylviedust123lol Well I think most phones have this feature anyway so: At the bottom there’s multiple icons and one of them is a pen. It’s next to the notification bell icon. That pen icon will give you the option to edit existing stories or create new ones if you click on it
