@Sylvinarocks I couldn't have given any spoiler, as I hadn't read past this chapter when I replied to your comment.
          I've modified my reply to include a question mark, and suggest that you delete your reply to my reply as calling  my reasonable guess a major spoiler turns it into one by implying that you have read further and know my guess to be correct.
          I've replied here so as not to create another reply that would have to be deleted.

@ausvirgo okay thanks I mixed up the story in my memory thinking at that point the story still hadn't mentioned what the father did. Apologies if my comment in the story came out..agressive?

Hello!  Do you happen to have a “Favourites” list on Wattpad?   I read (or start) probably at least ten books before I find a decent one and probably twenty or more before I find a “good” book.  Based on many times I’ve read your comments, I think you’d have a good list.  I read almost any genre, I just want a good story first and foremost. Clean grammar, etc is a bonus but not always a must. If it’s too far off from normal grammar though, I might not get far enough to decide if it’s a good story or not. 
          Anyway… hope you’re well!  Be safe please.
