Now we can add fandoms, fanfic types, and multiple genres and subgenres to a single book now!
"What does this mean?" Readers can discover specific books that they want, making it easier to find niche books. Are my fellow writers happy?!
I have mixed feelings on the social feed. I don't really like how my reading business is exposed to my followers.
Yes, it helps boat visibility. But I don't want to see vote spam in my feed from someone I follow, nor do I want my followers' feed to be spammed by my own activity.
Do you guys agree?
@SylvyMilky wow. This is just CRAZZYYYY!!! I Joined wattpad for the first time around 2018 or so. That’s probably why I don’t know of this mind boggling stuff. Ps, don’t apologize at it. It’s really knowledgeable.
@T-misha Sorry for lore dropping lol, but yeah I suppose thats the main reason, as groups & dms give admins more work to deal with.
@T-misha Yes, actually, a long time ago around 2016, within the pokemon community a pedo entered many minors' dms. He would share interest in their pokemon fanfics and got personal with them for romantic purposes. He was banned from the pokewatties community and pokewatties discord server. When everyone reported him to Wattpad admins, the admins said to report him to the police. Which was weird because why not take down his account and do something about it?? After that, many people left the Pokemon community, especially when Wattpad pushed for more advertisements and premium memberships. They moved elsewhere or don't even write anymore.

It will be updates soon! I finished organizing the outlines for each individual arc of the book. Now I feel prepared to write it fully.
Chapter 7 will be released in another week. Unsure exactly what day, but when I get it done essentially. So stay tuned for that!

If anyone is wondering why I've been absent, it's due to the fact that I'm in college right now. So that has my full focus, but will try to release chapters of The Promise whenever I get the chance.

Coming Soon - I'm going to make a status update book so people know more in-depth what I'm going to do for next year. I will detail my writing goals, what new writing programs I'm going to experiment with (google doc is getting tiresome), and what I'm specifically going to write and see if I can get self-published in 2027 or sooner!
