I love reading. I have quite a long list of favourite books, but namely the authors I like are J.K.Rowling (undoubtedly), Dan Brown, Vince Flynn and John Green.
Writing is a hobby I quite enjoy, except for the times when I really have to think of some original plot or flesh out some theme behind the entire story I'm writing. But I'm working on that, because good writers have interesting stories and meaningful messages embedded within the words they carve into the page.
The kind of writing I'm most comfortable with is descriptive writing. For me, I love to use the beauty of the English language, with its many words of many meanings at my disposal, to paint an image in the readers mind. To put an object or point of view in a new perspective. I believe that itself is an art. As for narrative type stories, I have yet to come up with anything good and concrete worth writing about.
For now, due to time constraints, I'll have to stick to writing short stories or some other witty poem whenever I'm in the mood for it. Maybe one day I'll really publish a gripping novel of my own and get admiration for it. The dreams sounds a little far-fetched, but then practice makes perfect. One day I'll be there, just one day.
