A research scientist for more than 20 years, I’ve recently given it all up to pursue writing full time. Defining this act as courageous or stupid I'll leave up to historians. While I have a long list of published yawns from my previous career, I'm currently trying to spin yarns that tickle everyone's fancy. While I like to think I'm reasonably good at it, I'm also hoping the luck of the Irish manifests in the form of my own personal fairy, Oscar Wilde.
