I have a big Sans theory it is amazing because i studied all of Sans actions and personality and in the final battle against him he say "he was sent here to fix this timeline" no he is Not Ness he is Sans just from another timeline just like you hear about the core people and Gaster the Gaster you can meet is a Gaster from Sans and the Core people world. So if so the Core people of that timeline are overprotected like Sans no one fights so seeing a Papyrus die in a different time like made him breaking. So he is bent on killing you and Gaster must have giving him the Gaster Blaster to fight Chara and to stop her AKA you from destroying another time line that is another reason why Sans have 1 health and 1 attack he doesn't hurt people in his timeline everyone doesn't fight even Frisk or Core Frisk so my answer is that The Sans from the Chara time line is from another time since they did say "The skeleton just came and move in" and that's means the original Sans is gone or destroy so Core Sans awaken Papyrus and that's why he happy when you are Frisk over Chara he didn't want to lose anyone but you just had to reset huh.
