Judging is never easy. It requires patience, fairness, attention to detail, and most importantly, a genuine willingness to support fellow writers. Our judges spent their time reading through diverse entries, considering each piece thoughtfully, and sharing feedback that we hope will encourage participants on their writing journeys.
The feedback received by participants was not simply about scores or rankings. It was about recognizing strengths, identifying areas for growth, and helping writers see their work through fresh perspectives. For many writers, a few encouraging words or a thoughtful observation can stay with them long after an event ends, and our judges contributed exactly that.
We are incredibly grateful for the kindness, effort, and dedication they brought to Petals & Pages. Their support helped create a positive and encouraging experience for everyone involved.
