@TEZofAllTrades I couldn't agree more about the community presence, I have been a part of some brilliant ones and some not so brilliant ones. Don't panic about rileyashdord4 I simply told them the truth, I'm broke as heck and am only writing for the fun of it. I gave them some art tips but no money don't worry. Thanks for your concern though :)
@HowlingMadMayhem Also, be careful of user rileyashford4. They are almost certainly a spammer/scammer trying to lure you offsite. A lot of that going around atm.
@HowlingMadMayhem I'm looking forward to the new search & discovery updates e.g. fandom pages, but I hope it's not too late for Wattpad, and I hope there are more improvements to come. There needs to be more of a community presence here.

After the disappointing response to my latest story, I have decided to take an extended hiatus. I'm honestly not sure why BSNBG wasn't more popular, but I really enjoyed writing it, so I'm surprisingly at peace with the lack of engagement this time. I'm going to be taking the year off to work on some new ideas, see which take my fancy, and hopefully return in 2026 with a backlog of chapters to post, including some belonging to an original story. I think it's time I got serious about that before AI crushes creativity entirely! I'll still be around, but it will be a while before I post any new content. Thanks for the support! Wish me luck!
@AmethystandEmma I wish! I don't think I'll be getting much rest. I'll be writing, just doing it all offline while figuring out my work/life balance. Who knows, maybe Wattpad will have improved by the time I'm ready to post my next story?...he said dubiously.
It’ll be sad to see you go, but completely understandable. Wattpad has been doing a pretty horrible job of recommending things to members of a fandom as of recently. Hopefully you’ll get some much deserved rest on your break!
