A Cruel Kind Of Agony. 
          
          It is a Lost in Space crossover 1998 fic with Lost in Space 1965 and thoroughly bashes the film to every degree possible throughout the story. At this very moment, on ao3, it is 61 chapters long with 159k. Which is why I only uploaded fifteen chapters long. Last year, I started this fic and started to upload it but upon realizing all the effort of having to go through just to upload it chapter by chapter, I deleted it from Wp then resumed working it on ao3 and dropped it to the side for the better part of a year.  Then returned a few months ago and have been punching it into oblivion getting a entire different storyline out of it. 
          
          In truth, this story involves sheer pain, nightmares, various kinds of agony that are pointed out by the characters that they are either going through or things that come up in passing, it involves healing,  reaching out, and accepting help from those you're afraid of hurting,  to allow themselves to be comforted, to be happy, to be relieved, and find out how to live as a person instead of staying clear from everyone and accept being re-accepted into the crowd after being at peace with themselves. It involves a lot of going down a dark path in which they are rejecting help and finding another way of solving their problem stubbornly.

Some of the scenes and storyline I wrote earlier still happen but they happen differently and fit together in the way the puzzle comes together. I speculate it could be finished with 200k. Possibly. It's just a guess since it could be done with 75 chapters. And it has 541 hits on ao3. Which is odd because I didn't take for other fans to be that interested in the LiS fandom in Smith being in pain constantly and suffering. And it's quite a lot of hits even for ao3.  Or maybe that is just a lot of people hating Smith getting satisfied reading him being in pain. Could be a answer. 
            
                That's like 100 more hits more than the massive crossover fic that I completely uploaded on here and condensed into merging chapters on here. Let it breathe, let it breathe, let it breathe  for the space cadets stands at 86 chapters with 168k and 408 hits. Which is pretty outstanding for a fic of mine in a small fandom.  It's like 300 more reads than the five times fic where something bad happens to Smith and one time something does not. 0.0
