also, i just want to ty all again for showing Stag the grand amount of love and kindness you have. it’s been so refreshing/encouraging—especially after a long period of writer’s block and disengagement concerning mj content. my cinema classes this semester have truly been rejuvenating my storytelling desires, and teaching me how to effectively see a great story through.
2) to my marvel readers, the updates will be slow, but they are definitely making a comeback. so ty for your patience. the “spider-man: brand new day” trailer is sooo on-brand with how i wanted to portray peter in ROGUE (bucky x jt oc). the anticipation for “avengers doomsday” has been making me wanna lean back into the ELYSIA (thor x victoria monét oc) and LEGEND (loki x ryan destiny oc) too.
3) however, next week (after my supposed CANDLES drop) will be dedicated to catching up on new updates/books since it’s spring break and i FINALLY have the time, lol. so expect me to be in your comments. so many worlds (old and new) to explore. i’m so excited! <3

Okay your one shot literally made me so sad in every way imaginable. Mourning a love I've never had. Yearning for that same love and remembering the life i dreamed of as a kid. A life where i would marry my high school sweetheart and live my life with my soulmate. Yeah right, i didn't even have a boyfriend in high school. Reading stories like this where they're living the life i dreamed makes me so happy and sad at the same time, and wonder why it never happened for me. And if course missing my own father. This shit hit deep in ngl. I almost started crying just thinking about it

hey writers, genuine wattpad question.
for those who’ve used the feature, are polls supposed to notify you when someone votes? i know the votes themselves are anonymous, but like the “like comment” feature, is the app supposed to lyk? because when i used it, i wasn’t notified at all. i had to go into my own book in reader mode to check the votes.
@sadebleu oh, great. *rolls eyes* i wanted to use it in the place of “closing” a/n’s, but it’s no point in using polls if idk when someone’s voting or the # of votes i’m getting. like come on wattpad. one job.

Usually, I don’t participate in these kinds of dialogues, but this whole AI thing that’s been going on is so… *smh* While I may not agree with certain methods, I do understand both extremes. Outside of this app, irl, I’m a recording artist/writer/background vocalist. I have many singer friends in the music industry. These AI “artists” make us sick saying that they are putting in the work. I promise, I get defending integrity firsthand, and I understand the outrage 1000%.
Using AI to bring everything you think/write to life and claiming it as your own work is crazy. It’s not talent. It’s tool exploitation. However, truthfully, outing people like this instead of contacting (or at least attempting to contact) the people in private is also crazy—especially if the goal is to correct and not crucify. We should all want to learn, grow, and cultivate in this community. It should feel safe. It should BE safe. There’s a way to do things. A way to say things. A way to call things out w/o being or seeming mean-spirited. And if they choose to keep cheating w/ AI, unfortunately, so be it. Sooner or later, it’ll catch up to them. If people choose to keep reading/supporting and being bamboozled, so be it, y’all. *shrugs*
Everyone who I’ve seen debating about this issue (at least, that I follow) so far are great writers. All of you, genuinely. I mean that w/ my whole heart, and ik you guys put in the work and have done so for a long time. I just hate to see it turn so nasty so fast. Most of us are all adults here. We should be able to have these constructive convos w/o it becoming a shady tag team.
@SLICCBAKK i get you. i was one of the ones who were grateful for the heads up with the “how to pinpoint ai” book (i forgot the name, lol) dropped a few months ago. i was being bamboozled by a few authors on here from different fandoms. it’s bc of you and a few others that ik what to look out for. heard you. i respect your position, sis.

so due to lack of traction on the story this time around, "luminescent" will be archived until further notice. i'll be doing this with my other mj books as well. i've read the room. i’ve checked the temperature. it’s cold and it’s empty, lol. the (very) small number that participated in the poll didn’t even comment and haven’t done so throughout the book. *yikes emoji*
the draw for certain types of books/genres in this fandom isn't the same as before, or ppl choice to read from a select few authors w/o venturing out, or a specific niche isn't "in" right now. i’m taking into account the fact i left for a year and came back with a new name/new account. also, ppl may have just aged out of their "wattpad" phase—which are all understandable.
maybe when the biopic comes out, there'll be another boom of active readers and i'll quietly unarchive to test the waters around that time. but until then, they'll be in my drafts. not deleted. perfectly safe, ready to be republished for eager readers who’ll appreciate them. so no worries.
in the meantime, i'll be writing for other fandoms i enjoy, and i'll still be reading mj books i'm interested in (future reads list) when time allots. i start spring semester tmrw, so yk how that goes.

I was getting back into the groove of reading MJ fics and writing consistently. With my schedule, I haven’t been on here reading but I do miss reading Michael fics so I was on my way back . I hate to hear that, but I’m gonna support whatever you decide to create! And I have no doubt that we’ll definitely see a huge spike in readers when that biopic comes around which is good for us!! I can’t wait until you decide to bring them back!
@SLICCBAKK tysm for your kind words and encouragement! ❤️ and no worries. i get you 100% on the pacing—you’re so right. discipline definitely lacks there for me because i just wanna get my ideas out there, but i’m working on it for sure, lol. on top of that, all the writing/world-building really takes up all the time i’d usually have to read, i’m realizing. also, among so many others, i still need to catch up on your “lie actually,” joint, too. and girl, these rogue comments got me cackling alreadyyyyehbdskwj. i really hope you’ll love the story as much as i love forming it. <33
