Hullo!  I am Jessica...or Jessi...or Sadi, truly I answer to anything.  I am pretty much an open book!  I like to read, and write, though I've never finished a book.  I am often too critical of my own writing and I end up in a perpetual state of rewriting chapters.  I do have a few chapters up of ideas, but I probably will not finish them.

Like I said, I love to read, but am abnormally picky.

I tend to prefer female heroines, medieval settings / fantasy settings, and for the female to be kickass and not a damsel in distress.  I have found very few male authors who write good females, so I am often wary of reading books written by males (though I do love Scott Westerfeld, he does remarkably well).

Some of my favorite authors are Maria V. Snyder, Tamora Pierce, Kristin Cashore, Alex Lidell, and Rae Carson.

I am always open to suggestions.
