          is it just me, or is it really uncomfortable when i see r@pe fanfictions about actual people? like bts, mcyt and their characters personas, etc.
          
          i know for some it's a coping mechanism, but at the same time, if it's real people, you shouldn't post it at all.
          
          (note, fictional characters in a sense are totally fine. they aren't real, but sure, it's a bit weird.)
          
          but yeah, scrolling through ao3 and seeing so much of it is just digusting, and normalized??

( @palepaper ) RIGHT! Books like Bough Breaks on A03 is such a good book, despite it's entirely being around SA. You can make a book like that, but finding one like it is entirely rare. The disgust I get when I see ships like Aizawa and Midoriya, and they just brush it off as "if you don't like it, don't read it". You shouldn't write it in the first place! And don't even get me started on Twitter..

            i love ao3 but everything is normalised there and it’s disgusting. for example, in the anime community there is a huge issue with p3dophilia in it because in a lot of fandoms minors are shipped with adults, Gojo x Yuuji has over 1000 works on AO3 for example which is disgusting. Gojo is 28 and Yuuji is 15—fifteen years old; that’s a thirteen year age gap between a MINOR and an ADULT. then the amount of smut between mcyt and the Kpop fandom makes me incredibly uncomfy seeing as they’re real people and the amount of them have either their character getting r@ped or them r@ping someone else which is sick ://
