            misha flinched slightly on instinct.  his legs curled up to his chest as he gave a silent nod to signal that he would listen.
            
            he hated upsetting ilya.  it was worse than any torture his father had put him through.  it made shame drown him.
            
            silently  ,  he felt as if he deserved this.  he wanted to push and make things worse  —  to make ilya mad so misha would finally suffer like he deserved.
            
            "but  ..  "  he whispered.  he shouldn't  —  he really shouldn't.  "you're not  —  you shouldn't  ..  care about me."

            * ilya was beginning to get mad , mostly because misha wouldn't listen . ilya hated repeating himself more than anything , that when kyu asked him three times where he was going he broke everything and threatened to kill him , of course he apologized after but he didn't want his brother to see such an unsightly side of him *

            * ilya frowned , but it wasn't as obvious considering his face was bandaged almost entirely , so to add to such emotion he crossed his arms *

            they didn't go away  ,  but they did stop advancing.  slowly  ,  he lowered himself to the floor.  misha refused to leave ilya alone  ,  but he also wanted to avoid making things worse.
            
            "why am I not real?"  he questioned softly.  "I'm here  —  just as you are.  I talk and I breathe  —  my heart beats as we speak.  you can come feel it  ,  if you'd like."

            * his head absolutely burned with images in his mind , certain things that would happen to him when he disobeyed . his eyes were bloodshot , hands holding his head . it was more or likely another episode *

            "kind?  that is the last thing I am."  he hurt and harmed without remorse.  he felt nothing but curiosity when he did it.  kindness was something he reserved only for ilya and the others.
            
            "don't lie to console me  ..  there's no point.  not when I know the truth."

            the boy didn't hesitate to crawl into ilya's embrace.  he hid his face against him  ,  hands fisting ilya's clothes.  it was as if he was trying to ensure ilya wouldn't go away.

#  misha is blind in his right eye.  the right side of his face was burned during a test.
            
            #  they have to walk with a cane.  sometimes  ,  he can't walk at all.  makarov would rather force his son to crawl than to get him a wheelchair.  
            
            #  they're prone to collapsing  ,  coughing up blood  ,  and growing extremely fatigued.  
            
            #  makarov does get him somewhat proper care now.  despite his young age  ,  misha has contributed to both planning and gathering information.  he's even concocted poisons used in assassinations.  they've proven to be worth keeping alive.
            
            #  he doesn't act like the child he is.  misha was forced to grow up quickly.
            
            #  misha no longer cares when someone hurts him.  he's grown used to it.  it does fuel his hatred towards people though.
            
            #  he   can   warm up to people  ,  but it's not something that will happen quickly.
            
            #  he's really just a child who developed really bad coping mechanisms.  he rarely regards himself as human  —  as something worth keeping alive.  his mind grew curious about pain in order to ignore his own condition.  if he was an object  ,  then it was okay that he was hurt.  that also means he thinks the same about other people  —  when he views someone as an object  ,  they don't see anything wrong with hurting them.  it's a twisted mindset he developed unknowingly.
            
            #  he hates people  ,  but he loves animals.
            
            #  he'll talk about poison and torture happily.  he fixates on them  —  if they get to chance to talk about it  ,  they won't hold back.
            
            #  they're practically a completely different person with their brothers.  he'll smile and laugh and cling to them like a child  —  because he is one.  nothing matters to him more than them.

            MIKHAIL  is the biological son of vladimir makarov.  born sickly  ,  the boy was used as a test subject.
            
            various substances were tested on them  —  they ate away at his body  ,  worsening his condition even further.  the older he grew  ,  the weaker he got.
            
            mikhail is a   tool   to them.  were he to die  ,  it would only be deemed as a necessary sacrifice.
            
            it was only when his mind snapped that they found worth in him.  no longer caring about his own condition  ,  he researched the poisons being put into his body.  they studied the contents  —  learned the ins and outs of everything that was toxic.  at a young age  ,  the child had mastered the world of poisons.
            
            they didn't stop there.  he grew curious about the limits to the human body.  unprompted  ,  he requested to experiment.  no matter what he called it  —  studying  ,  learning  ,  curiosity  —  it was nothing other than torture.  they harmed people with no guilt  —  being treated as an object made him think of others in the same way.  people were disposable  —  a means to an end.
            
            his mind grew twisted the more he learned.  he was smart  —  a genius even.  it was too bad he only knew how to apply his mind to cruelty.
            
            misha holds resentment towards humans.  it doesn't matter if he knows you or not  —  they aren't kind to anyone they meet.  anger and annoyance are the emotions he leans on.  
            
            the only people he regards positively are his siblings  (  @gvtted  ).  it is only with them that he truly feels alive.  not a tool  ,  but a human  ..  a child.
            
            misha cares not about his own life.  his siblings are his priority.  misha's life runs on a timer.  if he continues as is  ,  it's inevitable that they'll meet their end.  even so  ,  he doesn't care.  as long as his family gets away from here  —  is safe and happy  ,  no longer used  ..  then he can die happy.
