The two friends are self-proclaimed superheroes. The support of a famous dragon who suddenly appears from a black hole gives them courage. After all, they are two troublemaking crackpots. In their little adventures they meet several elves including the legendary Ailin, whom Kobold John immediately falls in love with, but also the dangerous Necromancer Panglotter, epigone of the Wizard Stardestroyer, with his mythological beasts Hippalectryons. Ailin knows that Stardestroyer is the hybrid demon Astemoth and that he and his disciple are preparing an unprecedented attack on the planet.
