· she's pretty defensive too. while she doesn't use her fists first like kaito, she will ball them up and hold them out. she usually defends vocally, though it gets awkward when she meshes personal reasons with evidential reasons.

· she's sort of like the dad friend. she's super chill and casual but has her serious moments. she's also the sugar daddy friend—

· she's as smart as she is dumb. both of her parents can be a bit of an airhead in some categories, which made it disappointing she inherited both of them. she doesn't understand social cues and she often thinks that trust is the strongest bond. but she's an a-average student regardless.

· she's always held a fascination for both of her parents jobs, which was why she ended up becoming a theorist. at first she'd guess things about shuichi's writing or just space, but she ended up beginning to look more into things at places like school. she got her official talent once she made an online profile where she shared her theories and other information, which one notable theory ended up getting the attention of hope's peak after it was proven true.

· if we're talking literal backstory here, she doesn't have much of the angst you get most of the time. she lived with one parent as well as one that occasionally came over for some time. though they've seen a bit more of her being upset she doesn't see one of her dads as much. but she knows she's lucky compared to her dads since shuichi didn't have much of a relationship with his parents before he moved in with his uncle while kaito had lived with his grandparents since he was young after his parents passed away.

· ouwa lived with shuichi more considering that kaito was away at times in order to work on his schooling and then training to be an astronaut. shuichi, meanwhile, went into a career with writing so that he could work from home and take care of a baby. he was the mother figure of sorts, even if he was the dad, so he was used to having to deal with that stuff. he'd even end up recording first moments and little memorable things so that he could send it over, just to make it seem that he wasn't missing everything.

· her and shuichi talk in english privately since he taught her some while kaito was away. she isn't completely fluent, but she understands it.

· when her dads are in the same room she calls them saturn (kaito) and uranus (shuichi) since they're both planets with more prominent rings (meant to reference their wedding rings.) shuichi doesn't like his name for obvious reasons but kaito won't let him say anything.

· kaito and shuichi designated some of their friends as her aunt and uncles since she didn't have any other figures besides shuichi's parents who they literally never see. (bonus: shuichi walked in to them throwing the popcorn and booing at a movie his parents were in.)
