@guishmonster from what I remember, Wolverine was captured by the reavers and Donald Pierce. And while hes beaten and bruised on the x cross, he begins to hallucinate about past events such as the x-men return from savage land, and he also is visited by phantoms of old foes and friends. And this was around the time the X-Men were in their Australian Outback era.

@guishmonster yeah bro, seeing them do the iconic Incredible Hulk #340 was really cool. And the scene you’re talking about of Wolverine being crucified on the X, it’s homage to the Uncanny X-men #251 cover

@TYBG48 it is the Ultimate universe in a sense basically in Ultimate Invasion the event that lead to the return of the Ultimate Universe The Maker made so all the heroes that were supposed to get powers in the Ultimate Universe didn’t so there was nobody to stop him but Ultimate Tony sends out these things to the various heroes to give them back their powers that’s a quick and probably terrible summary of how the Ultimate Universe is back

@TYBG48 yes they are and it is glorious only issue is out so far but it’s incredible after suffering through Zeb Wells’ run for so long this feels like our salvation. Honestly watching Peter become an incel for an issue was our canon event to get to this

@guishmonster Chuck Austen is very infamous for his run on the X-men series, you should definitely give it a read or go on YouTube and search his X-Men run and read the reviews lol. Bruh, why the hell do they keep separating Pete and MJ? Good thing I’m not reading the series lol

@guishmonster Also it seems from the first issues of the new TASM run Peter and MJ have once again broken up cause she calls him from a closet and tells him never  to call her again and at the end of the issues two kids come running towards her saying Mommy and there's a dude named Paul and yes he's just as punchable as you think he is now I'm gonna give this a couple of issues and see how this plays out before I lose my shit but PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY DOES MARVEL HATE US SO MUCH?!?!?!?! At least John Romita Jr.'s artwork is nice

@guishmonster yeah, i don’t think I’ll read another X book until Marvel Relaunches/Reboots the X-Men again lol. With TASM relaunching, will Peter be back as Spidey? Last I heard that he was in some sort of coma and that Ben Reilly had taken the mantle of Spider-Man 

@TYBG48 Oh it was fantastic lots of bay shit insane twists and turns with Moria, Charles, and Magneto. TASM been fantastic with Beyond (I’d probably say the Black Cat MJ one shot is so far my favorite issues of the arc) and TASM will be getting relaunched with a new number 1 along with a lot of the X books in April with John Romita Jr. returning to do the artwork.
