You have opinions and people don’t like them
But you’re still allowed to have them
Oppression is systematic
Oppression is being killed, raped, and tortured for your race, sexuality, or gender identity.
Has any of that happened to you?
Have you been denied your rights because of what you believe?
Have you been shot for being your skin tone?
Didn’t think so
What’s happening to you is disagreement
You are not oppressed
You’re called homophobic
Because you are
You’re called racist
Because you are
You’re called misogynistic
Because you are
That is not oppression
That is being told a hard truth that you don’t want to hear
You are not oppressed
