Hello, fellow fans! I’m reaching out to update you on the current status of The Different Worlds. The story has faced significant setbacks, much like the delays in nuclear fusion energy development or the Russian military modernization program.
          
          As I focus more on my Computer Science studies, I’ve decided against pursuing software engineering due to limited job opportunities. Instead, I’m exploring alternative careers in tech that can support me and my family, especially with the rise of AI potentially impacting future job prospects.
          
          I’m considering a remaster of The Different Worlds without removing the original, so you can still enjoy the existing chapters while I refine my work.
          Here’s the main point of my message: Are you still interested in this story?
          
          It’s been nearly two years since the last published chapter, and I’ve been struggling with writer’s burnout and writer’s block, particularly with understanding the plot amidst overwhelming dialogue that needs improvement.

Here’s my plan: I’m officially putting The Different Worlds on hiatus for now. However, you’re welcome to create fanfiction based on this story without my permission—though it would be great if you credited me as the inspiration!
          
          A close friend recently asked if I’m still enjoying my writing hobby. I said yes, but I admitted I’m struggling to move forward with this story. He suggested pausing The Different Worlds until I’m in a better place with my writing skills and focusing instead on a new, less complex project with a cooler concept.
          
          This new project is a Mass Effect x Halo crossover, replacing the First Contact War between Humanity and the Citadel Council. It will be a series of stories with less dialogue, more interactive characters, and detailed scenes. 
          
          This isn’t a “Humanity, Fuck Yeah!” story but a realistic portrayal of how both factions might interact in a complex, grounded conflict.
          
          I’ve been playing Halo: Master Chief Collection on my new laptop through a free Game Pass add-on and have watched full gameplay of Mass Effect Legendary Edition on YouTube a couple of years ago. 
          
          For this new project, I’m aiming for grounded plotlines with straightforward objectives, fewer stray dialogues, and the assistance of AI to proofread my work.
          
          
          I’d love to hear your thoughts on the current situation with The Different Worlds. I’ll share my final decision next week, so please support me in making my writing hobby more enjoyable

any update on TDW? its been half a year since you last posted any chapters.

          I'm sorry for the delay, I did a massive mistake in my latest chapter that deviated from the intended storyline. It would be probably sooner that it will be published to the website, just hope that I could have the willpower and determination to complete my chapter.
          

Any update on the TDW?

To those who are reading this.
          
          The Two Different World (TDW) might exceed the 20k word count. It could slow down my progress in completing my newest chapter as it has the Visit of the World Leaders and the military deployment scenes. Both of them are difficult for me to write down and double-check the storyline. So be patient on the new chapter, it might take a couple of weeks for its completion.
          
          I want to have quality over quantity because it's distasteful to see my work being corrupted and wrecked by my greed and impatience.
