So today, one of my friends, who recently announced that she’s a kpop fan (like its somekind of trophy to flex pfft snobby bitch just wants to sqeeze into to clout. Many “kPoP FanS” here are just fake and only here cor the trend. There are only a few genuine ones) and i talked about bts and how they literally ate and left no crumbs in every concert and how they ruin our sanity, altho it was me who mostly did the talking, then she suddenly started raving, “omggg did you see that recent taennie clip in that award show?! Ugh they are so hot and cute and legit real! Do u like them?” My face immediately went blank and i replied, “um no. Im more of a loyal taekooker” then her face scrunched up and disgust, “you mean that delusional ship between jungkook and taehyung? Ewww they are gay! Yuck i just hate these gays and lesbians. Ugh. And they dont seem real tho” i was literally fuming! HOW FUCKING DARE SHE?! I coldly said, “well what do you mean they are gay? Whats up with that? Love is not limited to between male and female. Its a universal human emotion. It doesn’t matter if its between two girls or two boys. All it matters is the love. And abt taekook not seeming real is exactly the point! Had it been fake or fan service, no offense to any other ship, then they would’ve been transparent and loud, with flashy higs and things like that. But taekook aren’t. They’re known for their subtle yet strong signals that only fans who are attentive and closely catch. They’ve been together now for more than a decade and their love has gone mature and quiet yet strong. Call me delusional, but i believe in taekook.
