Hello, my lovely followers! How are you all doing? It’s been a while since I last posted anything, but I just had to share this moment with you all… AHHHHHHH! (scream of joy)
We have crossed 80k reads on A Love Rewritten! Can you believe it? When I first wrote that story, I wasn’t even sure if it would reach 40k, and look at us now! I’m honestly over the moon and so, so happy.
I want to thank each and every one of you who has shown love and support for my story. Your encouragement means the world to me, and I feel truly grateful and indebted to you all.
I’d also like to give a special thank you to @dolliekooz for sharing my story on her wall. I genuinely believe her support played a huge role in helping me reach this milestone. As a newbie, I couldn’t have imagined such a boost—her random post helped so many readers discover the story. So yes, thank you so much!
To celebrate this milestone, I’m excited to announce that I will be writing the long-awaited epilogue for A Love Rewritten once I finish my current story, A Love the Moon Demands, A Heart That Won’t Obey. Hey everyone… I’m really, really, really sorry.
So here’s what happened —
I was having trouble continuing my story, “Under His Command”, and thought, “Okay, maybe I’ll just unpublish it for now and come back later.”
BUT… instead of clicking unpublish, my genius brain hit DELETE.
And then Wattpad—being the decent app it is—gave me a warning:
“Are you sure you want to delete this?”
And what did I do?
I clicked YES.
YES.
Like… why??
How could I be so naive?! ♀️
My brain just straight-up stopped working in that moment ❌
The second I did it, I realized the horror — but it was too late. The entire book was gone
And to make it even worse?
I didn’t have a backup. Not even one. single. file.
Cue the panic and internal screaming
I was so devastated I just disappeared for a few weeks. I had no idea what to say, and honestly, I was mad at myself. Still am
But I promise, I’m going to start again ✍️. I’ll write what I can remember and do my best to bring it back — maybe even better this time ✨
Thank you for being so patient with me ❤️ And again, I’m truly sorry.
Lesson learned: back up EVERYTHING . And never trust yourself with buttons when you're mentally drained ️
