For much of my life (and forever a hopeless Directioner), One Direction was an esencial characteristic to my persona. It hurts when an idol leaves, but it hurts more knowing that they probably left thinking the world was against them. Although, Liam was not my “favorite” 1D member, his passing has forever left a hole in me. Talented artist. May he rest in peace and be assured, that while the world was falling down in his eyes, some of us still valued him. He raised a generation and it is okay to grieve him. Gone to soon. Rest easy.
