Sometimes you reach a point where nothing around you feels the same, conversations feel empty, people feel distant, and even the things that once made you happy don’t reach your heart anymore. And in that quiet heaviness, it’s easy to feel like you’ve been left alone. But Allah was never absent from those moments. He was the One who kept your heart steady when it felt like it would break, the One who listened to the du’as you couldn’t even put into words, the One who saw every tear you thought no one noticed. This phase you’re in isn’t meaningless, even if it feels long and exhausting. Allah is Al-‘Alīm - He knows exactly what you’re carrying, and He is Al-Ḥakīm - nothing He allows has no purpose. So don’t let this distance you feel from the world make you distance yourself from Him. Stay, even if it’s just with a quiet du’a, a small act, or a tired heart that still turns back to Him. He can say “Kun faya kun” - and everything can change in a way you never expected.

Hey,

I hope you’re having a cozy day, filled with books that feel like old friends.

I’m really sorry to slide into your space like this—I just came across your profile and noticed you enjoy emotional, character-driven stories. My friend has recently started sharing a story that’s really close to her heart, and I thought you might love it too.

It’s called In the Wake of Us.

          She’s never known love.
          He’s still haunted by it.
Neither of them saw the storm coming.

Maira believes she’s not meant to be loved.
Arham once was—and it broke him.
Now they’re bound by a marriage neither wanted, caught in a silence thick with pain and unspoken truths.

It’s a slow-burn, emotional read about grief, love, and the quiet ways people find their way back to themselves—and to each other. Not the kind of love that fixes everything… but the kind that changes you.

If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, it would mean a lot if you gave it a chance. My friend would be truly grateful for your support!

And if you ever feel like sharing your thoughts, she would love to hear them—only if you’re comfortable, of course.

Thank you so much for your time. It means more than you know.

Excuse me hi, very tiny request.
          Read Held by Destiny?
          It’s basically:
          Girl: I missed my flight.
          Destiny: Here, have a husband.
          Man: Fine, I’ll protect you.
          Feelings: surprise, we’re here too.
It’s soft, emotional and quietly adorable.
One chapter, okay? It’ll put a cute little smile on your face.
