Chapter 6 is now complete. I'm sorry for the hiatus. I've been in the hospital for back injections...fun stuff.  The military was great, but the injuries can be a hassle. Well, it's back to business for this storyteller.

Chapter 5 is finally finished. I meant for this to be much shorter than it turned out, but alas, stories have a mind of their own. I'm glad that you have been enjoying our journey through the ash, and I hope that you will travel with me to the end, no matter where that may lead us.

It's been a while. We are finally done with the move and all the preparations that sort of thing entails.  Sorry for the extended hiatus, but it's back to business for this writer.  I'm working on a website, and hope to have it finished by next weel. You can also expect chapter 5 to be finished by Friday. Chapter 4 details crucial elements concerning the nature and purpose of the invasions, and its the turning point for several events concerning our characters.  For those of you who have supported this work, thank you. For the newcomers, I hope you enjoy our journey through the ash.

Sorry for the delay, friends. My wife and I have just moved into a new home. Packing...unpacking...the usual dread, plus the heat of summer. If you've caught up with the events of chapters 1-3, prepare for a dramatic change of pace in Chapter 4(Ashfall). Enjoy your journey through the ash.

An early draft of Chapter 3 is live. I intended to be out of the City by Chapter 2, but that's not how the story went. The incident with the Valeri wasn't intended either, but we all know how stories like to write themselves.I
