One isekai I recently thought could work for a post vol9 Jaune is Isekai Shikkaku/ Not allowed in another world.

          The prologue really shows Jaune mentality and  well as much as I liked the idea a power fantasy wouldn't help. Heck I feel it would have been worse if he ended up in BNHA.
          
          You may not have watched the series I mentioned at the start but how the mc is someone trying to ax himself yet giving valuble lessons to the people summoned to be heroes while (currently in the manga) having learned something himself.
          
          The fact that the main cast is small(only 4 characters) in the journey. And I being really bias as introduced a cat girl who became instant favorite and put Blake story to shame.
