Sorry it's been so long! I got distracted by a side story about Mongke and Ubet, which grabbed me and wouldn't let me do anything other than write for a while. Some snips of that will be posted soon :) And, I've finally started line editing the next chapter of ITN. Actually, I just finished marking up the chapter on paper- now I just have to type up the edits. Which will probably take a few days, but I have to do this to get my writing reward next week, so-- there should be another chapter soon!
Going a little slow since I have to line edit chapters before I post them, and Ch 39 was veeeery long (and I missed a lot of days). The next one may be quicker if it's shorter!
In other news, I started adding content warnings at the top of the chapter, just in case someone stumbles on a chapter with something bad in it - like this one :/
Little delay posting the next chapter of ITN. I realized that for the past 5 or so chapters, I hadn't been incorporating references to the "dream" (not a vision, Sareb insisted) in Chapter 0, so I had to go back and add some of those. Now I'm up to the upcoming chapter (Ch 39), so it should be posted soon - once I finish line editing!
Added part names to ITN! It makes the URLs and chapter titles a little unwieldy.. but oh well, it's only 4 times in a book of 70 chapters XD
Decided to post another chapter since it's been so long! (and Chapter 32 was so short) This brings us to the big epic climax thingy! :D
Please note, I used to be a tall ship sailor, but Sareb is definitely not - so please excuse him for calling the deck "the floor" and lines "ropes" and other such things while he's on the boat!
Well, only posted this chapter 4 days after I was supposed to.. but less than a week after the last one, so that's something! Monday is just not a good day for doing this.. so maybe I should just switch to posting on Thursdays? (my consistent day off)
Sorry this chapter was so late! It boiled down to me just not wanting to sit at my computer, which is where this book lives in Scrivener. In the winter I try to work as much as possible on my bed or in front of the fireplace - it's too cold sitting at my desk >.< Yesterday I finally made myself go compile this chapter, and then I could post it from the comfort of my bed :D
Hey, look at me, I posted a chapter on time, even though it's the night before Christmas Eve and I spent all evening making a big pot of rice pudding for tomorrow :P
