❖ THE VELVET COIL
            
            Hidden along one of Storybrooke’s quieter streets sits The Velvet Coil.
            
            A narrow storefront filled with shelves of ancient books, worn journals, forgotten maps, enchanted manuscripts, and shelves lined with ornate hookahs from every realm imaginable.
            
            Warm lantern light illuminates the room through clouds of fragrant smoke.
            
            Leather chairs circle low wooden tables.
            
            Soft instrumental music hums somewhere impossible to locate.
            
            The back room is where magic truly lives.
            
            Certain smoke blends reveal memories.
            
            Others reveal possibilities.
            
            Some show visitors truths they spend years trying to forget.
            
            Books occasionally rewrite themselves.
            
            The layout subtly changes overnight.
            
            And somehow…
            
            every customer always finds exactly the book they weren’t looking for.
