"*Summer's POV*

"Sam? Sam?" I call out to my best friend. She seems to blink her eyes and whatever happened to her vanished.

          	"Are you okay?" Nicole asks.

She just shakes her head 'yes'. Her eyes, they give her all away, lighting occasionally illuminating the tears brimming her bright green eyes, even when the powers out you can see it. Her whole aurora just changes, you can literally feel her emotion.

Nicole seems to not see this and she walks away to do whatever she is doing.

"Sam?" I ask sitting down next to her, she just looks at me still with more tears threatening to spill over. She's clutching her necklace and I just look down staring at the locket.

I look back up at Sam who burst into tears collapsing into my lap.

"It's ok, it going to be ok. The storms going away, it'll be gone by morning," I reassure her.

"It's not the storm!" She yells out still sobbing.

"W-what? Then what is it?" I ask clutching on to her trying to comfort her.

"It's my mom, Summer! I don't have a mom..." She says the last part crying.

"Look at me," I tell her, she doesn't respond still in my lap.

"Look at me!" I say a little harsher. She looks up at me like de-ja-vu just happened to her.

          	"What?" She says.

"You're going to be fine." I tell her.

"No, I'm not! It's been 4 years! And I'm still not over it! She's gone! She's really gone..."

"Sam! Get a grip! You have an amazing father who tries his hardest at trying to do both jobs, it's not easy but he's managing! You've been fine for 4 years, and it'll be the same in 40, you're ok." I tell her rubbing her back gently with my hand.

"I always think, 'what if my dad leaves?' Or something like that." She tells me squeezing her eyes shut.

"You know that will never happen," I reassure her.

          	"But what if?" She asks.

"You'll always have me, remember when we were younger, and we said we'd be roommates and go to the same college and live together?" I ask her, Sa..." http://wattpad.com/story/4349017
