I'm so sorry it's been so long without an update! Forgetting Adaline will be finished, and I have more books planned. Life has been crazy.
          
          For anyone interested - my professional life involves working closely with animals. They're my passion. I recently inherited a large parrot and am about to inherit another one. These birds are a LOT of work and adjusting to them in my life has been a lot. 
          
          I also struggle with some long term health issues - and things can flare up from time to time. Nothing serious or life threatening but combined with everything  else going on writing has not been a priority unfortunately. 
          
          I'm aiming to get back on track within the next month so please don't give up on me.

Just wanted to vent a little ...
          
          Last weekend I lost my peachface lovebird Lewis. He had a seizure disorder for the last 3 or so years. It was being managed with medication however in the last 6 months he started to get worse and have more frequent seizures.
          
          Let me tell you - an animal that has the ability to fly having a seizure is traumatic as hell. 
          
          Anyway, he passed away (in my hands) while having a seizure last weekend and I'm pretty devastated. I had him for almost 10 years and he was best friends with another bird of mine. His best friend is heartbroken and won't stop calling for him.
          
          Anyway, that's why there was no update last week. I'm working on a chapter for this week but I make no promises.

I'm working on getting this week's chapter finished but I'm STILL sick  it's either the flu or Covid. I've lost my sense of taste and smell almost completely and it's been like this for almost a week. Send help 

Hello and Happy Weekend from Australia!
          
          It's winter here and I have a cold so I'm feeling pretty awful. However I did manage to complete this week's chapter and it's now published to read. I'm a sucker for angst and drama and I'm not even sorry haha.
          
          Chapter 32 - What Goes Up, Must Come Down
          Expect:
          - Unexpected confessions
          - Heartbreak
          - It's gonna get worse before it gets .. worse
          
          So I may enjoy torturing my characters just a little TOO much. Sorry, not sorry.

          I tried really hard to get this week's chapter ready to publish this weekend but it's an emotional one and I haven't got it just right yet. I'd prefer to take my time and publish something I'm happy with than rush and give you guys something not up to standard. 
          
          So I'm going to spend this week getting some feedback and editing. It's gonna be an extra long one ;)
