          In japanese folklore kitsune are smart foxes that have paranormal abilities that increase as they get older and wiser 
          
          and according to yōkai folklore all foxes have the ability to shapeshift into human form once they're like 50 or 100 years old
          
          
          
          so no kitsune are not half fox half human
