I was going to thank you for starting the book, but you are already a third of the way through it.
The first third is all about the discovery of the object; the second third is about the understanding and the final third is about the political repercussions.

THE VISITOR is my second novel. The idea for Cadma, who you'll meet later in the story, came from the last chapter of my first book, MINDSLIP.
Also, the decision to write about a female lead character was inspired by what happens to the main character in MINDSLIP, too.
