the way I just found out about wattpad's new content restriction rule is crazy to me, i'm gonna have to prepare for stories being taken down cuz my childhood trauma in stories r not normal lmao

@TatorTotTati ahh. I see the idea but the problem is very much in the sense of portrayal and having story. As you said, not everyone is glorifying it. Damn. Sorry your works got crapped on like that.

@I_lovegyuu so basically any characters having any sexual relationship has to be 18. Which I get why cuz they discussed no grooming or pedophilia being written but what makes it a little stupid is that u can’t even write 2 teens under 18 having sex for ur story. If they find anything related to that, they take down the entire book. With me, I write abt high school aus and characters who go through sexual trauma. Even if it’s meant to be between two characters who r 18+ canonically, it will still be restricted plus while grooming and pedophilia is def bad, not every author glorifies it. It just makes writing interesting/personal stories hard

I’ve pondered for a few seconds after I looked at how much I already wrote (cuz I’m tryna get this dang new chapter out as we speak) and maybe I’ll just rewrite it as time goes by and as I slowly update??? That’s more rational. But hmmmm idk. I could totally just get rid of the book and give up
