I started in visual art at 4 years old. Weirdly, I drew a basketball player, which was apparently very good for a four year old (especially for one who would grow up to have absolutely no affinity with team sports whatsoever). During all my growing up years, I dithered between visual, performing and literary arts, eventually choosing applied visual arts, which I trained in and remained in for practical reasons for many years.

At different periods in my life, one calling has always surfaced as the strongest... For a decade or so, I wished I could afford the time to focus on writing and that is what I am doing now (in between fretting about the bills and mortgage).
