@Cynarr Hey! Aw, no worries. It's been crazy busy the last few weeks for me too. I'm so glad you love the opening paragraph so much!!! I have since moved it up to be the opening for chapter 1, and now have another opening for the prologue...but it could change again. lol. I had no idea who Clarissa Fairchild was until I looked it up after reading your message yesterday. Oh my. Well, I went with Kathryn because it's my middle name, and then Fairchilde just sounded so pretty. No other reason than that. lol. And she's redheaded because Tauriel is. Sooo, yeah. Thanks for pointing that out though. It's been slow going now, seems like once I got that brain dump out, my brain stopped coming up with more. lol. I really have no idea how to write a story, and I'm worried it will show in the end, but I keep telling myself the first draft is just me telling myself the story--then I can really work on it. Anyway, thanks again!

Goodness, my apologies for the late response! Past few weeks have been crazy busy-- 
            I love the opening paragraph! The dawn splashing blood red across the sky sounds rather ominous, so I'm guessing this day will not go as any other day, lol. Kathryn's last name Fairchilde reminds me a bit of Clarissa Fairchild from Mortal Instruments, and the fact they're both redheads make the similarities even greater, so not sure if that is intentional? But maybe something to take in consideration? Anywho, it's a great start! I'm excited to see where your story will go <3

@Cynarr PS. I know it's not even that much to actually review. lol. I think I was just really excited last night, and had to share with someone! Anyway, how are you? How's your own writing coming?

I actually had to force myself to put my computer up when I realized how late it was getting last night. lol.

            Honestly, I'm thrilled that I have a whole library of your novels to read! Soooooo, LOL, prepare for a WHOLE lotta messages eventually as I read each one.

            Aw,  I've motivated you? That makes me feel very happy. :) And, I would absolutely love if you tried to write another LOTR fanfic eventually!
