AHEM! Hey guys! Long time no see! This is a very emotional post for me. I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for 100k reads on Friend of the Dixons! This book means so much to me, emotionally and physically, and it is insane to know that 100,000 of you have read it! Thank you so so much! I know it has been a very long time, but I swear, more content is coming soon. Since the last update of 2022, life has been insane, in school and outside of school. I've lost loved ones, found a passion for acting in theatre, and am currently in the process of writing my very first book (non-fiction lol). I know on multiple occasions I've promised updates soon, only to not. I feel like a majority of it is fear of revamping the book and not being satisfied with my revision. And the fact that I have 200,000+ words to revise, lol. Another thing is, every time I return to the book, I reread many chapters and just cringe at my old writing, which for some reason really discourages me in continuing. I spent the last week rereading my good friends Daryl Dixon fanfic, and it really motivated me and inspired me to continue. So yeah. Enough excuses and enough complaining. Thank you all so much for the 100,000+ reads. Now, it's time to get to writing!
