He sat in the bar, drink in hand. He'd been on this case for weeks and leads he were following were getting cold. In fact, that was the reason he was in this bar...he was growing desparate and the man he was about to meet may be the most fundamental part to his case, he needs fresh leads and this man has claimed to got them.
A creak and faint chiming of the bells on the doorway alerted him to a new arrival. He heard footsteps approach him and a man took a seat next to the detective. "You Detective Grimm?" The man asked in a rough tone. "Yea, You Rumplestiltskin?"
The Rumple coughed and nodded. "Yea, you said you wanted leads....I'm here."
"Alright. Rumplestiltskin...I'd like to ask you a few questions-" Rumple interrupted before he could continue, "One question...only." Detective Grimm looked confused. "One question, only?"
"Detectctive...if you know me...or have ever looked at my files... you'll know I'll only disclose so much information to people, and what I share comes at a price." Grimm sighed, he was afraid of this. "Yes...but only one question? How am I supposed to get all the information I need from just one question?"
Rumple grinned, "that's for me to know and you to find out...so you better think long and hard about this question bud. Because I'm only going to give you one chance to ask, and if you mess up..there are no take backs...got it?" Grimm nodded, he began to brainstorm what kind of question he could ask Rumplestiltskin.
"Grimm...I don't have all day." Rumple tapped the mahogany table impatiently. Grimm began to become frustrated, none of the questions he could think up would be able to get him sufficient information.
He took a swig of his drink then it happened...he thought of the perfect question..."Rumplestiltskin....I have my question now." He raised his eyebrows. "Hm...you do? Well ask away then."
Detective Grimm looked the older man in the eye...and said:
"Do you know the muffin man?"
