I know it’s been a while (almost a whole year, oops) but I *might* have a new chapter to come soon of “Tell Me That You Need Me”.
Boring life update:
Honestly, 2025 was hell, especially the second half. It had its standout moments: seeing Bad Omens and catching a Ruffilo pick, seeing Ice Nine Kills and getting to meet Miles in person and gift him a crocheted kitty version of Freddy Krueger to name a few.
But I also moved to a job that ended up being the worst four months of my life leaving me unemployed for over two months and in that time span, I also lost my dad and had to put everything into organising his funeral and finances.
2026 started mostly well with a big concert moment again: seeing All Time Low for the first time ever and holding Jack up on the barrier during Dear Maria was one of the greatest moments of my life (and now I can’t reread Heartless the same way - Jalex is real and you can’t tell me otherwise).
But I got my old job back and things are kind of going okay. I’ve got some good gigs coming up including seeing Black Veil Brides for the first time (in a 450 cap venue!), MCR for the first time in NINETEEN years and coincidentally at the same venue I first saw them (supporting Muse), followed by a trip to Manchester the next day to go see BMTH at Outbreak festival perform Count Your Blessings in full. Feels like a dream at this point! U
Anyway, boring shit over. Hopefully I can get this chapter of TMTYNM done soon and then I can figure out where it’s going from there. I had to adapt some of the plans for it but it’s all good.
Hope everyone’s okay! Peace out ✌

@TealienSykes I am sorry that recently your life has been rough. Also I am sorry for your loss. But honestly it's so amazing that you get to see a lot of bands you like, and all of them in such a short span of time!! (you have to do a tutorial or something on how to get tickets bc I always lose the Ticketmaster war T-T). I hope everything gets better for you and your loved ones, and I also hope you keep writing and gifting the world with your awesome books! xx
