There's a reason your story isn't booming with popularity, it's not you, it's the crowd, we are scared as readers to read about the undeniable truth, and because of that they refuse to read it, they read the first couple of sentences and leave, why change our life for a book about someone pov? Well don't necessarily change your life if you don't need to, but take into consideration what they just discussed and how it resonated within you. Your story is wonderful, not just because it's someone's feelings, but because you didnt filter it out to what people want to hear,you gave your honest opinion and for that I respect you, and you also probably won't get alot of readers because they don't want to hear it, (cause they are dense) but hopefully you can and will.
