Hey, what made you want to become a feminist? Like, what issues in our country made you want to become one? Just wondering, haha

I personally love Emma Watson and agree with her views on feminism as well :) thanks for taking the time to answer my question!

@xxmialpxx It wasn't as much of a national issue, but a personal one. My dad made sexist remarks and comments that some part of me ever since I was younger hated. I didn't realize I was a feminist until I was talking to the youth pastor in my church's wife. We were talking about Emma Watson and she said Emma Watson was a feminist. When I asked her what it was, she told me it was basically believing in gender equality more than the Bible said they should. I had known for months that I wasn't a Christian, but secretly hid my beliefs. I was curious, because I believed in gender equality so I looked her up. Since then she's become my role model and the stepping stone into me becoming a feminist.
