damn i sometimes forget how old your calamity fic is, oh btw how much of a mental fuck up was it when the lore changed for calamity? (i bet the draedon update with it revealing that the infected astrum deus was merely one of maybe hundreds of deus' was annoying)

i started this fic back then when the in-game deus fight had you facing off against like 9-ish worms all at once, i was absolutely ready to commit to this idea i had of having 8 astral infection kuraima clones. Buuuut then I introduced the gangsters and decided to keep them around so i had to scrap that idea because of cast bloat.
also I think i straight up missed the part of the lore where it said that, lol
