Hi, I consider myself a perpetual newbie here, don't know a lot of people, so I guess this is where I write about myself so people can judge whether I am interesting or I make them fall asleep ... :S

I am a shy, awkward boy 19-year-old (nearly 20--oh my god) boy all the way from Melbourne, Australia, and I am an avid dreamer and lover of many fandoms. I am currently a university student studying Literature, Philosophy and Media Studies, however I am still pretty much a dorky little teenager. I am extremely passionate about writing and reading and the humanities.

I love love love reading young adult fiction novels, especially m/m romance novels. I very frequently stay up until morning reading emotional gay novels and crying into my pillow because I fall in love with fictional men and then get reminded of how I have never kissed a single boy and probably won't for a long time so I try to suck up every bit of happiness I can get from the pages of these books.

I am a bit of a nerd and a huge dork and I love TV shows like Doctor Who, Sherlock, Community, Parks and Recreation, The Walking Dead, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Rick & Morty, Spaced, The Simpsons, Grey's Anatomy and Glee.

I love a variety of music from Taylor Swift & Glee to Indie band The Frames. My favourite song is "Falling Slowly" by The Frames because whenever I feel like I'm drowning in a swarm of thoughts and fears, I listen to this song and for a few minutes I really do feel like I'm falling slowly. The glee version of "Roots Before Branches" is close to my heart because it perfectly describes who I am and what I am going through at this point in my life.

I've always found it hard to make friends and I've always been sort of lonely and disconnected from the people around me. I transport myself into and spend a lot of time in the world of fiction, inside my songs, TV shows, movies and books, where I can express myself and try to cope with my fears in the real world.
