I am a BRCA1 positive mother of two sons. I began my BRCA journey by blogging at Teri's Blip in the Universe, one of the very first successful BRCA blogs on the internet. I co-created and continue to run the largest, most active BRCA support group on facebook, the BRCA Sisterhood. Recently, along with Dave Bushman, I coordinated the creation of the BRCA Brotherhood, a support group on facebook, just for men dealing with BRCA related issues.

 I recently had a truly epic book published, along with a practicing ob/gyn from NY, Dr. Jonathan Herman. Our book, Letters to Doctors, Patients Educating Professionals Through Practical True Life Experiences, The BRCA and Hereditary Breast And Ovarian Cancer Syndrome Edition, is the only one of it's kind in it's genre. 

I've dedicated myself to helping others who live with BRCA mutations / HBOC high risks. Dr. Herman and myself have decided that we are not going to keep any of the profits of our book, and to put all that we earn back into the BRCA community. Specifically BRCA/HBOC related charities.

This is such a grassroots effort, and we welcome others helping us to spread the word about our live-saving, new book.
